Pieces is a collage of older prints I made in my early years as an artist. About fifteen years later, I tore the print into strips and then woven together covering the panel.  In 2022, still unsatisfied with the image,  I pulled the strips apart, leaving the anchoring parts, which adhered to the board.  Those pieces of the prints are the part remaing after years process, and growth as an artist, finally yielded this image. As we age, life strips away physically and emotionally at our selves, until we reach the part that holds on through all.
